Having your license suspended is a very serious issue. It can affect your daily life, and cause a great deal of stress if not properly taken care of. If you have a suspended license, you are most likely going to be required to take an advanced driver improvement course or some type of court-ordered traffic school course. While requirements are different from state to state, you will be required to take an advanced driver improvement or court-ordered traffic course if you fall into one of the following categories: your drivers license has been suspended for 12 points over a period of 12 months, you have been labeled a habitual traffic offender due to the fact your license has been suspended for accumulating 18 points within 18 months, or your license has been suspended and you have been order by the court to take an advanced driver improvement course or other suspended license traffic course.
