Joshua's Law, Georgia's 30-hour drivers education requirement for teen drivers, requires all 16-year-olds applying for a Class D driver's license to complete an approved driver education course. Joshua's Law has two main requirements. In order to get a Class D driver's license at age sixten (16) in the State of Georgia, Joshua's Law states that: - You must have completed a Georgia drivers education course (30-hours) approved by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS);
- You also must have completed a cumulative total of at least forty (40) hours of other supervised driving experience, including at least six (6) hours at night.
Our course is approved by the Georgia DDS and is 100% online. You can finish the class at your own pace. Upon completion, you will receive your "certificate of completion" by email.
