Driver's Licenses, IDs, and Voter Registration

The Department of Public Safety (DPS), through its Driver's License Division, handles driver's license testing and the issuance and renewal of licenses and state identification cards, at its driver license office locations. You may also register to vote or become an organ donor at these sites.

Registration, Titling, and License Plates

The Department of Revenue, through its Motor Vehicle Division (MVD), deals with vehicle registration, titling, and license plates at county title and registration or tag offices throughout Alabama.
